It was Sünner that brewed the first beer in the modern Kölsch style around 1900. Sünner is a 'Kölsch' style beer, which is unique to Koln (Cologne) Germany. Like Champagne (Appellation Controlee), it is protected by laws so that only beers brewed in that region can bear the name. Its appearance is clear & pale straw in color. The taste is refreshing, gently fruity and slightly sweet with a crisp, dry finish.
Houblon Chouffe was brewed for the first time in 2006. It delivers a harmonious balance between marked bitterness and pleasant fruitiness. Houblon Chouffe is unfiltered and re-fermented in the bottle as well as in the keg.
This fine copper ale has fresh hop flavor & assertive malt backbone. Our "Cask-Conditioned IPA" has been double "dry-hopped" with Summit hops from the Pacific Northwest. McCoy's cask ales have lower carbonation levels than our standard beers.
This limited release blended beer from Southern Tier is a special treat for hop fanatics. "Unearthly Imperial IPA" and "Hoppe Imperial" are combined to create a wonderful hop experience. Considered one of the top 50 breweries in America, Southern Tier claims, "hopped beer is our standard and inspiration."
This is a "hop" tribute worthy of a King's Imperial Court! Enjoy the blast of fresh Tomahawk, Cascade and Centennial Hops as they stimulate the taste buds in a truly imperial fashion. Pucker Up!
